Cello Voice & Asalato

Cello, Voice & Asalato is a solo project that stems from Jasmim’s desire to share her fascination and love for these three instruments in a performance that celebrates the diverse cultures and traditions that have shaped her into the person and artist she is today.

Cello, Voice & Asalato is an intimate performance that seeks to build bridges between Baroque and contemporary classical music; arrangements of traditional Portuguese and Brazilian music for cello, voice, and asalato; and Jasmim’s original music, inspired by artists such as Zeca Afonso, Sérgio Godinho, Sopa de Pedra, Deolinda, José Mário Branco, Fernando Lopes Graça, Caetano Veloso, João Gilberto, Gilberto Gil, Chico Buarque, and Adriana Partimpim, whose works profoundly shaped her artistic journey.

Beltane String Quartet

The Beltane Quartet is a new, emerging string quartet formed in 2025 by Phoebe Tarleton, Christina Schoonakker, Jasmim Mandillo and Davita Laseur, four dedicated and versatile chamber musicians, looking for opportunities to develop themselves as an ensemble and engage with wider, diverse audiences.

In addition to standard repertoire they are interested in playing newer, lesser recognised and female composers, such with their performance of the Rosy Wertheim quartet at the Forbidden Music Festival 2025.

Aos Pares

Duo with classical guitarist Marta Fonseca

Aos Pares (in pairs) is a project that brings together cellist Jasmim Mandillo and guitarist Marta Fonseca in a performance built on multiple dualities: two voices, two string instruments, and a pair of improvisations, spanning Portuguese and Brazilian music—from classical to popular, from folklore to samba.

As a duo, Jasmim and Marta create a concert of original arrangements, their own compositions, and classical music that bridges different eras and styles, from the concert hall to the samba circle, from Villa-Lobos to Zeca Afonso. 

Zeca Celli Collective 

Jasmim is one of the cellist of Zeca Celli Collective together with Pedro Carmo, Lluisa Paredes and Eva Aguilar, who developed the project Zeca Afonso - Musical Etudes for Two Cellos, arrangements of a selection of songs by the very influential Portuguese singer songwriter José Afonso for cello duo.
