Multidisciplinary portuguese artist based in Amsterdam

I’m a classically trained Cellist in love with Jazz, Brazilian, African and Portuguese music.
I sing and play Asalato (West African percussion instrument).

As an activist, I aim to use my political voice and critical thinking to impact my community through art and music.

I write my own music and make arrangements of Portuguese songs that I love for cello, voice and asalato.

I perform classical music solo, with Beltane String Quartet and my duo with guitarist Marta Fonseca. I’m part of Zeca Celli Collective, with whom I perform music by the Portuguese singer songwriter José Afonso.

I teach cello and asalato.
